It looks as though Snapper fishing will be closed for 6 mo, starting as early as this fall. There will most likely be a follow-up closure of 182 days which would make it year-round.

What in the world is going on with this country? Oh and they're going for mahi mahi next in the summer meeting. Mahi mahi are one of the fastest growing species out there in the ocean, but they still plan on targeting it next.
