ATLANTIS to HUBBLE

While it was a successful launch on Monday afternoon, it was a difficult one to see. I'm so glad that they were able to get it off the ground because an hour later, we had rain followed by lightening/thunder.
As Jack predicted, it would be better to see over the NASA channel rather than out the front door. I took this picture from the kids' playhouse. While I did catch a nano-second view of it twice, the camera did not capture the same thing. If you see a shuttle in this picture, your eyes are better than mine (which isn't that hard to claim as of late). It should have been over the palm trees on the right side.
